True to its name, Vedic Lifesciences supports the following social and community initiatives in the fields of education and health care.
Vedic supports this independent charitable organization committed to reaching out and caring for the less fortunate particularly school kids. It started as a program for integrated community development, with several Chapters in US and India, AIM for Seva now touches the lives of over 10 Mio rural and tribal people across 15 states of India. The Organization has a Special Consultative Status with the economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
One of the largest non-profit organizations working to provide quality education to the underprivileged children of India and the mission – Every Child in School and Learning. Vedic supports Pratham financially and Vedic staff has volunteered for one of their annual survey for effectiveness of elementary school education system in India.
Vedic Lifesciences actively supports The Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation which is a non-profit organization involved in education and village development in rural areas and tribal villages of India. It is the largest grassroots, non-government education initiative in India with presence in over 37,000 villages providing free education to more than one million children. The foundation’s model of operation is single-teacher schools, with the premise of “Ek Shikshak, Ek Vidyalaya” meaning “one teacher for every school”.
Clinical Research is still misunderstood by lay people in some countries with media painting a one sided picture. Vedic Lifesciences decided in 2010 to spread awareness about the benefits of Clinical research among the general public through a pledge to be taken by the members of the clinical research industry. People taking this pledge continue to communicate the benefits of participation in clinical trials and address concerns that prospective study participants may have.
